Same as in the real world, there are 4 different seasons in Stardew Valley.
They appear in the following order:
And then the year ends, and the next cycle begins all over again.
Each season lasts 28 days.
You should always check the date and pay attention to how many days are left until the end of the season. If you are over 28 days and a new season begins, your crops will wither and die (unless they can also grow during this season, but it’s a rarity).
Of course, it is.
Many players just skip this season, because there are not many seeds to plant, so it’s not that profitable.
But… Winter is an ideal time to visit mines and make some stocks for the next year. It’s also a great opportunity to upgrade your tools because you probably don’t need the majority of them that much.
In winter, you can also easily reorganize and upgrade your farm. Without all that grinding, it’s way easier. Don’t miss that.
